A letter from Peggy
Hello, and welcome to the Os-Cal® website. I'm Peggy Fleming. You probably know me as an Olympic skating athlete, but what you may not know are the other roles I have in my life. Those roles include wife, mother (and grandmother!), breast cancer survivor and women's health advocate.
Health and fitness have always played an important role in my life. And that includes taking action to help prevent osteoporosis and help maintain good bone health.
My commitment to bone health started years ago. My husband is a physician and was attending a seminar on bone health and calcium. He learned that both men and women reach peak bone mass in their 30s (my age at the time), and that adding calcium every day was key to preventing bone breakdown. When my husband returned, he insisted that I start taking Os-Cal calcium every day. And Os-Cal has been a part of my life every day since. In fact, Os-Cal now sponsors me as its official spokesperson.
I take Os-Cal two times a day, every day. I take it at breakfast and dinner because it's easier for me to remember to take it with meals. And it's the way that my body can absorb the most calcium. You may also find this to be a good routine.
I hope you find valuable information on this website. And I hope that you stay committed to a healthy routine that includes Os-Cal twice a day, every day.
Peggy Fleming
